What should I bring?

Bring/wear comfortable clothes and shoes according to the season. Not all facilities are heated and/or air conditioned. Most activities during retreats are outdoors. Food and water are provided based upon type of activity and length of stay. For severe allergies we recommend individuals bring their own food as we are not able to accommodate for all allergies. We recommend individuals bring bug spray and sunscreen in the summer months.

Volunteer Opportunities?

Each month we have a service day to help with maintenance of the property and facilities.  For retreats there is a need for help with registration, food, set up/tear down, and various other activities. Group service days are available for small building projects as the need arises.

Can I have a campfire?

Campfires are dependent on weather conditions and burn bans. All wood is provided for campfires when the situation is safe to allow for it. Please do not burn anything besides the wood we provide as this increases the risk of fire hazards

Bathroom Facilities?

We have a very clean Port-a-can available with handwashing station. No showers are available at this time.

Is food provided?

Retreats: All food and drinks are provided for participants and volunteers. We do our best to accommodate any food allergies however due to limited resources in our area we may not be able to accommodate all allergies.

Things to do?

Our facility is on 18 acres which includes a ½ mile trail. Various outdoor games are available (volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, croquet). Situated throughout the property are multiple benches for quiet reflection and enjoyment of nature.  2 gardens are available for your enjoyment.  Our hope is that this time is used for prayer, Bible study, and deepening one’s faith.
